Reach For The Sky

The Reach for the Sky Scholarship was created in honor of Skylar Herbert. In 2020, the world lost a precious angel to COVID-19. Skylar Herbert attended Metropolitan Church of God in Detroit, MI and left a lasting impact and legacy that will never be diminished. Skylar had the heart of a servant and a smile as bright as the sun.

The scholarship offers one $500 scholarship award to a qualifying KidsQuest student every year that embodies the same servant, leader heart that Skylar had. Scholarship funds can be used for school supplies or saving towards further education. A designated committee of NIYC leadership representatives will make the selection.

Applications and all supplemental materials must be turned in or postmarked by Nov 15th Detailed information about the scholarship and the application can be found in the apply link below.
